Roman Colosseum

The Roman Colosseum once echoed with trapdoor beasts, underground pulley mazes, sailors working its giant sunshade, and secret tunnels where prisoners swore they heard ghosts of gladiators still pacing.

Texas Capitol

The Texas Capitol is officially taller than the US Capitol thanks to the Goddess of Liberty, who sits proudly atop her mighty dome. You know what they say - everything is bigger in Texas!

Spooky Vibes

A spooky delight! Can you find my little ghost friend?

Antrim 1844

Antrim 1844. After the original family sold it in the mid-1800s, the mansion was used only occasionally (as a summer home), and by the late 20th century it had been abandoned for over 50 years before being fully restored.

Dakota Building NYC

The Dakota building in NYC wasn't named that because of any connection to the Dakotas - it was reportedly chosen because, at the time (1880s), the Upper West Side was very sparsely populated and felt as remote as the Dakota territory.

The Driskill Hotel

The Driskill is Austin's oldest operating hotel, steeped in luxury, lore, and a touch of the supernatural.

Taj Mahal

The Taj Mahal hides sealed rooms, a shifting optical illusion that makes it appear to move as you walk toward it, and stone flowers so elegantly crafted they seem to glow when touched by moonlight.

Amsterdam Central Train Station

Amsterdam's Cenrtal Station stands on nearly 9,000 wooden piles, hides sealed underwater chambers from its island past, and is said to hum at night as the old foundations shift beneath the canal.

Elegance

An ode to a house. Like a love note to an alluring stranger.

St. Basil's Cathedral

St. Basil's twists with hidden chapel, asymmetrical towers that never truly match, and a centuries-old legend that the czar blinded its architect so no other building could ever look so strange ever again.

Sydney Opera House

The Sydney Opera House hides a vast cavernous basement big enough for semitrucks, perfect acoustics that once made performers lose their sense of direction, and a secret cooling system powered by seawater flowing beneath its sails.

Voortrekker Monument

The Voortrekker Monument hides a sunlit crypt chamber that glows only once a year, geometric patterns said to echo ancient star maps, and a hollow stone core where footsteps reportedly echo even when no on is inside.

Purple Palace Majesty

The timeless elegance of a Victorian masterpiece utterly dripping in purple.

TN Capitol

Built atop a hill by a self-taught architect, the Tennessee Capitol hides secret staircases, unusually angled windows that catch sunlight in strange ways, and a crypt beneath the building containing the remains of its designer, visible only to those who know where to look

Canadian Parliament

Beneath the grand halls of Parliament lie secret tunnels, a clock tower that rings in mysterious patterns after midnight, and ghostly footsteps said to echo through corridors where no one walks.

NYC Jefferson Market Library

Once a courthouse with a notorious history, the Jefferson Market Library still hides barred windows, secret staircases, and whispers of prisoners who swore they saw figures pacing the tower at night.

San Carlino

San Carlino twists with hidden curves and optical illusions, its tiny chapels conceal secret stairways, and the ceiling's undulating geometry was designed to make the space feel larger than it really is.

Holten Heritage House B&B

Built in 1897 by miner-turned-brewer Charles Holten for his bride, the Holten Heritage House hides winding, ghostly staircase, hosted King Edward VIII (allegedly), and was once the center of lively Red Cross galas - now you can sip breakfast in its old library, under the ghosts of its glamorous past.

Osaka Castle

Beneath Osaka Castle lie hidden tunnels and secret rooms, a moat once filled with crocodiles imported as a deterrent, and ghostly echoes of samurai drills said to haunt the stone walls at night.

Green Dome Of Hofburg Palace

Stained by centuries of oxidized copper, the Green Dome of Hofburg (Vienna, Austria) rises over Roman ruins and imperial thresholds. This marvel quietly marks where Vienna’s everyday streets gives way to the hidden world of emperors.
